Locally owned Whatcom Land Title Co., which is celebrating its 40th anniversary, is opening its fourth branch this month in downtown Ferndale.
Whatcom Land Title’s Ferndale branch will open Monday, Oct. 3 at 5616 3rd Ave. The branch’s hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
Dave Paulette, title manager for the whole company, is the Ferndale branch manager. Paulette has more than 30 years of experience in the title industry, including 21 years with Whatcom Land Title.
“Attention to detail, dedication, and diligence” have distinguished Paulette’s service with the company, according to Colleen Baldwin, owner of Whatcom Land Title.
“Integrity is something that’s important to me,” Paulette said. “I’m proud to say I work for a company that has integrity as one of its core values.”
The Ferndale branch will be fully staffed with title and escrow officers and assistants, recording officers and other support staff, Paulette said.
Whatcom Land Title ranked No. 67 in the Top 100 Private-Owned Companies in Whatcom County for 2022. The list, based on reported 2021 revenue from companies with headquarters in the county, was compiled by Business Pulse magazine and published in its July/August issue.
