Whatcom Land Title Co. gives $7,000 to local nonprofits, receives award

Whatcom Land Title Co. donated more than $7,000 to local nonprofit organizations in the first half of 2019 through grants and proceeds of a June garage sale organized by employees and clients.

Many groups benefited from the donations, including Brigadoon Service Dogs, Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement, Kulshan Community Land Trust, Lydia Place, Meals on Wheels, Skookum Kids, Whatcom Center for Early Learning, Northwest Youth Services, Whatcom Land Trust, Animals as Natural Therapy, Wounded Warriors, St. Jude Children‘s Research Hospital, Brain Injury Alliance of Washington, The Robert Chinn Foundation  and Alternative Humane Society.

Also, employees have donated hundreds of hours of their personal time supporting various nonprofit organizations.

In recognition of its community involvement and local ownership, the Ferndale Chamber of Commerce named Whatcom Land Title Co. its Large Business Member of the Month for July.
