Bill Ronhaar, CEO of Whatcom Land Title Co., recently was named chair of the state’s Limited Practice Board by the Washington State Supreme Court.
Ronhaar, who has nearly 50 years of experience in the title industry, joined Whatcom Land Title in 2014. He has been named a National Title Professional by the American Land Title Association and a Washington Title Professional by the Washington Land Title Association, where he also served as President on 3 separate occasions.
The Limited Practice Board is composed of 9 individuals, 4 of whom must be attorneys and must also include a representative from the Escrow industry, Lending industry, Title Insurance industry and the Real Estate industry. They are responsible for the Limited Practice Officer (LPO) examination, develops and approves forms for use by limited practice officers and plays a role in the LPO discipline system. Ronhaar has served on the board for the past six years.
